Sarah has played basketball for over six years, and has loved the game even longer. She started out playing pee-wee ball in the 4th grade. By the time she reached 7th grade, she was starting on her junior high team. Her first year at Russellville, she was moved up to the 9th grade team when she was in the 8th grade. She also started on her junior high team in 9th grade and the high school varsity team in 10th grade.

Sarah has also played AAU Basketball since the 6th grade and played BCI her 9th grade year.

Sarah has been to a state tournament final for either high school, AAU, or BCI, five times in the last two years. This past season, her high school team was 26-5 and runner-up in the Class AAAA State Tournament. Her AAU and BCI teams have gone to the National Tournament:
